TIV's Commitment to US Government Innovation ​

TIV is an SBA-recognized Entrepreneur Support Organization (ESO). We are proud to support small businesses and entrepreneurs across the United States through direct advisory services, lectures, grants, and capacity-building programs. We provide hands-on support to help small firms participate in federal innovation programs and succeed in government contracting. For instance, TIV works with FAST agencies to deliver services such as proposal writing, TABA, pitch deck preparation, and commercialization planning for SBIR/STTR applicants (e.g., TIV is a micro-grant service provider for the Wisconsin Center for Technology Commercialization).
We also deliver workshops and lectures on critical topics, from the Bayh-Dole Act, ITAR compliance, and technical data management to IP valuation, commercialization strategies, and early-stage investing. These sessions are hosted directly and through platforms such as Govology, the leading online hub for US government market education

USAID Caribbean Business Enabling Environment-Reform (CBEE-R) Project
TIV was chosen as a sub-contractor to the International Development Group LLC (IDG) for this three-year, $8.6 million task order under the Public Financial Management II (PFM II) IDIQ. TIV supports IDG in improving the regulatory climate for resilient businesses and strengthening the government's capacity to implement business environment reforms.
TIV’s experts will provide their inputs to the annual work plans; monitoring, evaluation, and learning plan; sustainability plan; performance reports; financial reports; and the final report.
Department of Energy SBIR/STTR program
TIV continues to assist companies in bringing their novel technologies to market through the Department of Energy’s SBIR/STTR program.
Our experts provide participating firms with unique insights and mentorship on topics, such as technology transfer, technology screening, patent analytics, intellectual property licensing and monetization.
US Small Business Administration Growth Accelerator Fund Competition (GAFC) 2024 Stage One
TIV was awarded an SBA GAFC 2024 Stage One grant for "EmpowerAI: Advancing Economic and National Security." This initiative aimed to transform the AI innovation ecosystem in the Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) area, focusing on economic growth and national security. We established critical collaborations with local chambers of commerce, academic institutions, and industry leaders to facilitate resource sharing and idea cross-pollination, enhancing outreach and impact across the AI community.
As an Entrepreneur Support Organization (ESO), TIV laid the groundwork to provide comprehensive assistance to AI startups, including mentorship from experienced professionals, helping them develop funding pitches, business plans, and financial projections.
