Dr. Lisa Collins
General Manager
Dr. Lisa Collins has extensive experience in academic administration, international education, and organizational management. She holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Anthropology from Harvard University, as well as a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania. Her career reflects a deep commitment to education, cultural diversity, and operational excellence.
Dr. Collins began her academic career at Harvard as a Teaching Fellow before joining Yale University as Dean of Saybrook College, where she served as chief academic officer and residential life advisor to 500 students. She later served as Dean of Students at The Ross School in New York, overseeing academic achievement, student conduct, and safety for a diverse body of international and local students. Internationally, she directed academic programs in Mexico, chaired an English department, and led curriculum development that improved student outcomes. She also founded Bodega 41, a multicultural initiative in Mérida that highlighted artisanship and global creativity.
Since 2015, Dr. Collins has been General Manager at Tambourine Innovation Ventures. In this role, she leads corporate affairs and daily operations, coordinates multi-stakeholder projects and timelines, manages proposal and grant submissions, oversees compliance, documentation standards, and quality assurance, and prepares client-facing materials, reports, and presentations. She supports data collection and analysis, facilitates meetings, and serves as a key point of contact for partners and funders. Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Collins combines cross-cultural fluency with strong execution, writing, and team leadership to advance TIV’s mission.
