Strengthening Digital Regulation in Saudi Arabia: TIV’s Experts Deliver Training with ITU and CST

TIV’s experts had the privilege of collaborating with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the Digital Regulatory Academy of the Communications, Space, and Technology Commission (CST) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Together, we designed and conducted an extensive five-day digital regulation training program based on the ITU/World Bank Digital Regulation Framework.

At a time of unprecedented digital transformation, effective regulatory approaches were more critical than ever. The program equipped professionals and policymakers with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the evolving landscape of digital regulation, fostering a forward-looking and innovative digital ecosystem in Saudi Arabia and beyond.

TIV’s team of experts curated a comprehensive curriculum covering 12 key topics, ranging from data protection and trust, infrastructure sharing, and spectrum management to regulatory responses, sandboxes, and digital transformation strategies grounded in international best practices. The training program was delivered to CST and other relevant stakeholders, empowering participants to better understand how digital regulation influences markets, policy, and regulatory frameworks, as well as its impact on businesses and consumers.

Throughout the five-day program, participants engaged in inspiring interactions and thought-provoking discussions, demonstrating a strong commitment to embracing digital advancements responsibly.
