Video Production Specialist [Contract]

About the Role

This position is short-term, and the level of effort will be 60 days within a six-month period. The Video Production Specialist will report to the Private Sector Development Officer.

Job Description

The Video Production Specialist will work with the CBEE-R team to develop digital productions, including:
 

  • Design and produce public service announcements for different media outlets and a short video feature on the new online Collateral Registry; and

  • Source popular theatre actors for the production of the public service announcements and short video feature are and what your site has to offer. Double click on the text box to start editing your content and make sure to add all the relevant details you want site visitors to know.

Requirements

The candidate shall have the following experience and qualifications:
  • Associate ‘s degree in arts management or a related discipline;  

  • Two to five years of professional experience in television, radio, film, sound production or new media;

  • Technical experience and skills in video, audio and pre-, during and post-production, such as digital editing, video compression for multiple platforms and still, as well as motion graphics design;

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, coordinate effectively with others, and meet time-driven deadlines;

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Deliverables:
  • Four public service announcements for radio, social media, and television;

  • Design and produce a short video feature. 

About the Company

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has awarded International Development Group LLC (IDG) a three-year, $8.6 million Caribbean Business Enabling Environment-Reform (CBEE-R) task order under the Public Financial Management II (PFM II) IDIQ. The objectives of CBEE-R will focus on improving the regulatory climate for resilient businesses, bolstering government capacity to implement business environment reforms, enhancing robust public-private dialogue, and improving the creation of a resilient private sector.

To support the USAID/ESC Regional Development Cooperation Strategy through CBEE-R, IDG chose TIV as a sub-contractor contributing to activities across the six result areas of two objectives.
