About the Role
The ICT Consultant will support the CBEE-R team to develop and facilitate a digital literacy training program including:
Design a digital literacy training program including training curriculum, presentations, and training materials relevant to each of the three countries. The program should cover topics that enhance participants’ knowledge, understanding, and use of e-commerce technologies and digital financial services and solutions;
Taking into consideration the legal, financial, and socio-political contexts of each country, the digital financial solutions available in each country, as well as the needs of the targeted MSMEs, adapt the digital literacy training program for each of the three countries – Grenada, Guyana, and Saint Lucia-- and facilitate the training program in each country;
Monitor participants’ engagement and performance throughout the workshops and in collaboration with the entity or individual the CBEE-R team has engaged to offer digital literacy training programs in Grenada, Guyana, and Saint Lucia, and keep an attendance record of participants;
In collaboration with the entity or individual engaged by the CBEE-R team in Grenada, Guyana, and Saint Lucia, conduct a participant evaluation at the end of each training workshop;
Prepare a workshop completion report at the end of each training including activities undertaken, lessons learned, recommendations, and a list of participants;
Requirements
The candidate shall have the following experience and qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Communications Technology or relevant engineering discipline; An advanced degree is preferred.

5+ years of experience with proven track record in designing digital literacy training programs for developing countries;

Experience in facilitating trainings and other capacity building activities;

Excellent written and oral communication skills in English;

Excellent organizational skills;

Proven communication and presentation skills, and
-
Ability to work in an environment requiring liaising and collaborating with multiple actors including government representatives, private sector representatives, international organizations, and other stakeholders.

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has awarded International Development Group LLC (IDG) a three-year, $8.6 million Caribbean Business Enabling Environment-Reform (CBEE-R) task order under the Public Financial Management II (PFM II) IDIQ. The objectives of CBEE-R will focus on improving the regulatory climate for resilient businesses, bolstering government capacity to implement business environment reforms, enhancing robust public-private dialogue, and improving the creation of a resilient private sector.
To support the USAID/ESC Regional Development Cooperation Strategy through CBEE-R, IDG chose TIV as a sub-contractor contributing to activities across the six result areas of two objectives.
